Have you ever looked through the window of an art gallery, but always felt like you didn't understand art? Are you curious about art, but the art world seems very inaccessible? This is a contemporary art tour that gives you an insiders glance into the artist's studio and their practice! You get to look at art in the making (this can be paintings, sculpture, photography, video art or mixed media). You will find out about the creative process of an artist. Following, you will visit an art exhibition in a London gallery, where you learn to look at and discuss art. This is a great introduction to art and the art world!

About the host
Marenka Gabeler completed an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art in 2006 (distinction) and was awarded the Parallel Prize for Painting. Her projects have taken her on art residencies in Japan and Syria. Exhibiting internationally, her work is held in high profile collections. In 2008 she was awarded Boise Travel Scholarship, with which she travelled to Indonesia. www.marenkagabeler.com
